Catherine Somerlot is an artist with a flair for the romantic. This is reflected in her work as a photographer, digital artist, and designer. She is inspired by the beauty and mystery of nature, Art Nouveau, vivid life-like dreams, medieval literature and music, and Celtic myth & legend. Victorian, medieval, and Pre-Raphaelite art sparks something deep within the soul, taking her back to another time and place. Dawn Obrecht

I've been painting fantasy art for 3 years. My favorite medium is watercolor. I ink my outlines, use white and metallic gouaches for accents and love to add iridescent medium for sparklies!!

My favorite things to paint are faeries and mermaids. I also like to paint Asian faeries (geisha).

I've won several awards for my art and have been published in 3 books: Enchanted Artists; Visions of Atlantis (2005), Faeries Through the Seasons (2006), and Imagine 2006.

Esther Remmington

Esther Remmington

Nature is a strong influence in her work and the faeries and figures she paints are representations of the wild beauty and magic of the natural world. She mainly works using watercolours but has also used acrylics and colour pencil and loves to explore new ideas and techniques. Her artwork has been seen around the internet, featured in FAE magazine, used on a festival flyer, and exhibited at shows/festivals. She is continuing to work on many different projects and commissions.

Hannah feels that her painting techniques have changed over the past few years and now has widened her spectrum to include not just cloud formations, but abstract, landscapes and studies of the human form. Her most recent works derive from her interest in the spiritual world and are the product of meditation.

Jodi Whitby

Jodi Whitby

Our natural surroundings are of great inspiration to Jodi along with her keen interest in ancient folklore and of the pagan wheel of life.  One of her loves is to go on walks with her family through the local woods and experience the many faces of the forest as the seasons change.

  Justin Russel

Justin Russell

I am a freelance illustrator working out of Cincinnati. I use pastels and most traditional media. My concerns as an artist are the dichotomy between light and dark, evil and good and the grey inbetween. I explore these concepts through colour and value. Archetypes and the twisting of them is an ever increasing fascination within my own explorations. Scandinavian mythology and traditions as well as decor and symbolism appear frequently. Celtic motifs also prevail throughout my work. I see fantasy not as fantasy but as a study in the archetypal subconscious and what that means to us as a culture(s).

Kate Slade - Deep Roots

Kate Slade

I have always been fascinated by photography, and in recent years have finally had the chance to start doing it myself.  I have a deep love of the natural world, and in particular the wild places and woodlands of Britain, and have recently begun a long-term project to document as many of these islands' wild places and ancient sites as possible.

Patrick Turner
