Contribution to the Show
Willie Meikle has done us the great honour of allowing us to read his Short Story The Last Silkie in our Midsummer Holiday Special for 2008. Also, make sure you have a listen to the incredibly powerful short story, One Spring Eve, in our Spring Equinox 2009 Holiday Special, SP10.
I'm Willie, a Scottish author now living in Newfoundland.
I've had nine novels and over 150 short stories published. They're mostly set in Scotland, but now that I've moved to Newfoundland there'll be a few with Canadian settings :)
I also have three shorts produced from my scripts, and several supernatural scripts currently on option, including four shorts, and a supernatural thriller feature.
Details of my available scripts are on my Myspace profile page. (http://www.myspace.com/williemeikle )
I let most of my short scripts go for a copy and a credit at the moment to get my name around, so if anybody needs a script, head on over and read the loglines, then drop me a line if you're interested.

I have some work available to read for free online
Watchers is a dark fantasy trilogy, set in 1745 Scotland with a vamp Bonnie Prince Charlie, vampire highlander armies, and incidental werewolves and zombies... the first book is "The Coming of the King". There's an excerpt at http://www.williammeikle.com/watcherssadvert.html
For something different, My Midnight Eye Files series is about a PI in Glasgow who gets involved with the occult... it's more tongue-in-cheek than the other books. Sirens is Book 2, out now. There's an excerpt available at http://www.williammeikle.com/sirensadvert.html
There's a Lovecraftian short of mine "When The Stars Are Right" online to read at http://www.epberglund.com/RGttCM/nightscapes/NS11/ns11fic8.htm
Listen to one of my stories read aloud. Free at Well Told Tales http://www.welltoldtales.com/content/tales/last_day_summer.php
Willie Meikle has 10 books available.
