Kelley Heckart Celtic Romance Author
Contribution to the ShowKelley has graciously allowed us to read a couple of pieces from her works in our Shows. We performed a section from White Rose of Avalon in our Lughnasadh Special SP03 which tells us of the anger of Arthur at Lancelot as he discovers his friend's betrayal with Gwenhyfar. In our Samhain Holiday Special, we performed an excerpt from her fascinating novel Ravenwolf and, in tune, with the season SP05a, we go with her into the Paths of the Dead. BiographyThe author lives in Arizona with her husband and their two dogs. Though she resides on the earthly realm, she always has one foot firmly planted in the otherworldly realm of mystical creatures and magic. A psychic once told her she has an old soul and this comes across in her tales of long ago places. She has written numerous short stories and song lyrics. Of Water and Dragons is her first novel. Kelley has two more novels available from Awe-Struck--Ravenwolf, (a sequel to Of Water and Dragons) and White Rose of Avalon (a sensual re-telling of King Arthur). The first book in her Dark Goddess trilogy set in early medieval Scotland(Cat's Curse) is scheduled for release from Awe-Struck in early 2009. She is also finishing the prequel to Of Water and Dragons and Ravenwolf called Night's Daughter, a new twist on the conflict between the Titans and the Olympic gods. In addition to writing books, she also enjoys playing and writing music, and designing crosses out of driftwood. [Source]
