We are very pleased to be able to bring you the emotive track, Eamonn An Chnoic (Ned of the Hill) from the fantastic album Aoibhneas, which you can hear in our 2013 Spring Equinox Show Pt.2, SP36.
Daphne Quigley-Freund - Irish Folk Harp. Daphne hails from County Dublin, Ireland and has played her Hand-made Irish Harp there and all over the world. She has even played for the President of Ireland. Her playing, as you will hear, is extraodinary, emotive and dynamic.
Tom Bradfish - Acoustic Guitar, Irish Whistles, Bouzouki, Mandolin, Melodian and Bodhran. Tom hails from County Cook (Chicago's SW Side that is) but has traditional music flowing through his veins. If Daphne's playing provides the lovely, well prepared meal, Tom adds a rich layers of seasoning and sauce - together it's Bliss!
Aoibneas (pronounced eev-ness), is the Gaelic word meaning, bliss, delight, utter joy. This is precisely how we feel when we play this music and trust that you will feel while listening to it. Music is meant to felt more so than simply heard. These tunes will will move you to a delightful place.
