 Contribution to the Show

We are immensely grateful to Damh for acting in several roles in our production of of the First Branch of the Welsh Mabinogi, Pwyll, Prince of Dyfed which starts at Episode 30, Restless Dreams and continues through to Episode 42, A Mother's Worry, A Mother's Pride. Thank you so much Damh!

We are also very privileged that Damh has allowed us to feature his music many times in our Holiday Special episodes. He manages to bring the Celtic Spirit alive in his music. Whether his songs are either directly related to the Celtic Mythos or to folk traditions, his sincerity and belief bring the power of his songs into our modern-day lives. What an artist! Damh has very generously allowed us to feature his moving music on these shows amongst many others: SP01, SP03, SP05b, SP06, SP11, SP15 , SP17b , SP22 and the Damh the Bard interview in Special Episode SP19. From his first live album, As Nature Intended, we are proud to bring you The Song of Awen in our Spring Equinox Holiday Special for 2011, SP23 and The Spirit of Albion in our Chatterbox Show for 2011, SP24. You can also hear his Land of the Ever-Young in our Irish Mythological Cycle Summary Show, SP25b.

His powerful protest song, The Sons and Daughters of Robin Hood, can also be heard in our Chatterbox Show, SP24. He sets the key for our Samhain Holiday Special 2011, SP26, with his evocative song, The Cauldron Born from the album of the same name. Look out for his amazing track, The Wheel in our New Year Holiday Special for 2012, SP27. Check out tracks from his album, Antlered Crown & Standing Stone in our Special Shows SP32, SP33, SP34 & SP38. The ethereal and mythic Fith Fath Song from his album Herne's Apprentice can be heard in our Episode SP39, the Druid Special No.1.

You can hear two tracks, the title track Sabbat and Scarborough Fair, from Damh's powerful new album in Episode 40 Bretrayal in the Nursery. Our 2016 News Update Show, Episode SP42, has a 'Customs & Traditions' theme and Damh's emotive track, Forgotten, Never Be from his album Sabbat can be heard singing us out of the Show. Our Sussex Special Show, Episode SP43, features Damh's beautiful track Iron From Stone - another track from the superlative Sabbat album.

 Biography

Damh is a modern-day Bard whose spirituality, and love of folk tradition, is expressed through his music, storytelling and poetry. Drawing on the Bardic traditions his performances are both entertaining and educational, weaving a tapestry of myth, peace, and anthems that speak directly to the heart, but never without a good splash of humour. Damh is a musical storyteller who works within the world of myth that cannot be proved; where the Faerie really do dance on Midsummer's Eve, where the trees talk, and the Hollow Hills take you into the realms of Annwn. Where the Goddess rides her horse, guiding you to magic, and the Horned God of old calls us from the shadows of the Greenwood. [source]

Damh is also the relaxed voice of the presenter behind Druidcast, the podcast from the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids (OBOD).
